Hello, future newlyweds and lovers of beautiful weddings!

In 18 years of wedding planning and decorating, I have learned to follow how the wishes of the newlyweds change over the years. This gives me the opportunity to have an insight into upcoming trends, although of course we always take into account the wishes of the future family.

I am happy to share with you some of the hottest wedding decoration trends for 2025.

This year promises to be filled with creativity, elegance and style, with the main focus falling on the combination of artificial and natural flowers, as well as silver accents in the details.

Gold will always be relevant, but in 2025 it is noticeable that brides have had enough of it and are looking for silver and rose gold (copper) more than ever.

Silver is a symbol of elegance and luxury, and in 2025 it will play a key role in wedding decorating. Here are some options for silver accents in different elements of your wedding.

Choose silver cutlery and plates for your wedding. They will add sophistication and class to every table. Silver cutlery is the most common and although they are now available in different colors, few locations still have them. Placemats have become a mandatory element in wedding decoration because they give completeness to every table. For my part, looking for an interesting and cheaper option for placemats, I ended up making mirror placemats with a diameter of 33 cm, which, in addition to reflecting the light and decoration, take care of the overall unique and luxurious look of your wedding.

If you have decided to have the silver detail present gently in the wedding decoration, you can choose silver candlesticks, frames, table numbers, vases or pedestals for your flower arrangements or other details. They will definitely add shine and chic to your wedding. Even a silver ribbon tied to the napkin will completely change the look and create an elegant accent.

Fabric and mirrored plexiglass, silver tablecloths or napkins delicately decorated on a glass plate can create a magical atmosphere that will make your wedding unforgettable. If you are looking for an overall shine at your wedding, bet on silver in the tablecloths - this is one of the ways to create it. And to highlight your formal table, wish for a mirrored tabletop, which will definitely make you feel luxury and style without exaggerating and turning your wedding into kitsch.

Printed materials. Even the smallest details can make a big difference. Use silver lettering and accents in invitations and menus to create a unified and finished look. Opt for beautiful, non-shiny cardboard that is close to the natural look – it can be mixed with linen fibers, wool or cotton and made from recycled paper. Combine it with a shiny silver accent in your names or a personalized logo and I guarantee that this will be noticed by your guests and will definitely add uniqueness to the overall look of your wedding celebration.

The other main trend in wedding decorating is in flower arrangements and more precisely the use of gypsophila in different colors. Until 2-3 years ago, gypsophila was used as an addition to arrangements, but it very quickly entered as a base that creates volume and at the same time takes care of your budget, especially with the much-desired tall arrangements and voluminous arches and background decorations.

A combination of artificial and natural flowers will be more desirable than ever. One of the most exciting trends for 2025 is the use of artificial and natural flowers in the same arrangement. This combination not only adds depth and texture to the decorations, but also allows for more flexibility in planning and preparing the wedding and adds grandeur.

Here are some ideas on how to incorporate this trend into your wedding:

Bouquets and boutonnieres: Mix artificial and natural flowers in bouquets and boutonnieres. Artificial flowers can be perfect for maintaining their shape and color throughout the day, while natural flowers add freshness and fragrance.

Centerpieces: Table centerpieces can be a true work of art. Combine tall and low vases with different types of flowers – for example, roses and orchids along with artificial peonies or tulips. The freedom to have your favorite flowers at a time of year when they are not in bloom or are too expensive is precisely what using artificial flowers is all about. If you are looking for a big volume on hot summer days, you can add artificial hydrangea as a base, and smaller and more durable flowers and greenery can be natural. This way, you will definitely save yourself a lot of worries and money.

Arches and backdrops: Wedding arches and photo backdrops are perfect places to showcase this trend. As with table arrangements, arches and backdrops, artificial flowers give you the peace of mind that regardless of the chosen location, you will have freshness and splendor. Here you can boldly dream and compose with your florist, and in this case both parties will be satisfied. You, because you get the dream wedding decoration, and your florist, because he will not have to worry about whether he will work in the sun or in the shade and at the same time he will be able to unleash his imagination and build on his own skills and portfolio.

I have always said that the work of the florist and decorator is like that of the artist – they are creators. When the artist has more colors, different brushes and materials, the muse will possess him and he will be able to create a unique painting with great pleasure. The same is true for the decorator and florist – let them combine quality natural and artificial flowers and let the muse, their desire to develop and create something different and spectacular lead them. I am sure that when you see your wedding decoration you will be charmed, to say the least.

Wedding decorating is an art that requires careful selection of colors to create an atmosphere that reflects the personality and taste of the couple. In 2025, color schemes will play a key role in determining the style and mood of the wedding party. Let's take a look at some of the hottest color trends for wedding decorating this year.

Pastel shades

Pastel colors continue to be popular in 2025. They add softness and romance to the wedding party, while creating a sense of calm and coziness. Some of the most current pastel shades include:

Soft pink: Ideal for romantic ceremonies and evening receptions.

Mint green: Perfect for spring and summer weddings, adding freshness and cheerfulness.

Lavender purple: Suitable for themed weddings with a retro or vintage style.

Earth tones

Earth tones create warmth and natural beauty, while being universal and suitable for all seasons. Popular earthy colors include:

Terracotta: A warm and rich color that adds depth and elegance.

Mustard yellow: A bright and energetic color that adds life and dynamism to decorations.

Olive green: Calm and natural, perfect for rustic or boho weddings.

Metallic accents

Metallic colors like gold, silver, and copper will continue to be trendy in 2025, as we already understood, gold will slightly take a back seat. However, here is what they symbolize:

Gold symbolizes wealth and abundance. By using gold utensils, fruit bowls, and decorative elements, you add shine and chic to your wedding.

Silver is a symbol of elegance and purity. Silver candlesticks and details will add sophistication and style to your wedding decoration.

Copper is warm and earthy, perfect for an industrial or vintage style. By choosing copper, you are definitely stating that you want your wedding decoration to be a combination of creativity, luxury, and uniqueness.

Deep and Dramatic Colors

For those who prefer a more dramatic and intense look, deep and saturated colors will be an excellent choice. They create a sense of mystery and elegance to your wedding reception. Some of the most current deep colors include:

Royal Blue: A classic and timeless color that adds a royal shine to the wedding reception.

Marsala: A rich and warm color that adds depth and sophistication.

Verona Sunset: This bright, dramatic and “cheeky” orange is perfect for all the bold newlyweds who are looking for uniqueness and elegance in one.

Traditional white with a modern look

White has always been and will be the No. 1 wedding color in the world. The fact is that over the past 15 years, wedding decoration and floristry have undergone many bold changes and creativity is leading in wedding designs. In 2025, this will continue to develop and build on, but in a slightly different direction. A white and grand wedding…is this possible? Of course it is. If you are looking for a modern, impressive and elegant look for your wedding, then do not hesitate to discuss ways to achieve it with your decorator and florist.

As you have understood, the color ranges for wedding decoration in 2025 offer a variety of options for every taste and style. Whether you prefer pastel shades, earthy tones, metallic accents or deep and dramatic colors, it is important to choose colors that reflect your personality and history as a couple.

In wedding decoration for 2025, the desire for creativity and personalization will stand out, so do not be afraid to experiment and express your style and individuality!
