There is one question that almost all of my future brides and grooms ask me during our first meetings:
"How can we make our wedding truly unique?"
And they almost always expect me to start talking about impressive decors, unconventional locations, special effects or huge budgets.
The truth is, I never start there.
Because after all the weddings I have organized for 20 years, I have realized one thing - a unique wedding starts with people and their Love.

Everything matters... but not everything is the most important thing...
Of course, the location matters...
The decoration matters...
The flowers, the music, the lighting, the menu, the distribution of guests, the small details on the tables - all this builds the atmosphere and the feeling of the day.
It is these elements that make a wedding beautiful and complete.
But they can never replace the most important thing.
Because even the most luxurious decoration cannot create emotion if the bride and groom do not carry it within themselves.
And a simple wedding can leave a memory for a lifetime when it is filled with love, peace, and true happiness.
The most beautiful decor is happiness…
When the newlyweds look at each other with that look of trust.
When they laugh genuinely.
When they don't think about whether everything is perfect, but simply enjoy each other.
That's when the magic happens…
The guests feel it…
The photographer captures it…
And the memories stay alive long after the last song has ended.
As an organizer, this is always my biggest goal – not just to create a beautiful space, but to help the newlyweds be calm and experience their day.

Budget matters... but it doesn't define uniqueness
I can't help but touch on the topic of budget.
Yes, if we dream of lavish decorations, huge flower installations and large-scale productions, the budget is important.
But people often make a very big mistake.
They think that more money automatically means a more impressive wedding.
Over the years, I have seen weddings with huge budgets that look beautiful, but don't say anything about the people.
And I have organized far more modest weddings that guests remember for years.
Therefore, the questions I ask are - what do you want us to pay special attention to... How do you want to show your uniqueness and Love... What should I emphasize - the decor or the feeling... What is your story...
The right concept is worth more than expensive details
One of my favorite weddings is exactly like this.
The newlyweds didn’t want ostentation.
They didn’t dream of huge colorful arches or decorations that would impress social networks.
They wanted something completely different…
They wanted a feeling…
They wanted intimacy…
They wanted the people they love to feel at home…
They wanted their passions woven into the decoration…
As we talked, I started to get to know them.
I saw two smiling people who are not impressed by unnecessary luxury.
I saw style…
Tenderness…
Freshness…
Lightness…
A great sense of humor…
And even more love…
That’s exactly what we turned into a concept.
Instead of heavy and cluttered arrangements, we chose airy flowers in warm, fresh colors. We added citrus as a natural accent because they brought mood, aroma, and a feeling of summer. The tables remained elegant and simple, and every detail had its own meaning, without being intrusive.
Everything was tailored to themselves.
Not to trends…
Not to other people's expectations…
But to their history…
And that's exactly why the wedding was so real, and the mood… believe me, the only people who didn't dance were the waiters (or at least they didn't dance in front of the guests). It's very rare for me to really see all the guests on the dance floor and the tables empty, and not at one moment, but throughout the entire wedding.

This is the role of the wedding planner
I often tell my newlyweds that my job is not just to find vendors or arrange the program.
My job is to discover who you are…
What brings you joy…
How you communicate…
What is your energy…
How do you want to feel on that day…
Only then do we start talking about colors, decorations, furniture, flowers and budget.
Because when the concept is right, everything doesn’t have to be expensive.
Everything needs to be yours.

A unique wedding has no formula
There is no universal recipe…
For some it is a lavish celebration with many guests…
For others it is an open-air dinner…
For others it is a garden party filled with laughter, music and the closest people…
And all these weddings can be equally beautiful…
Because uniqueness never comes from the number of flowers or the size of the budget.
It comes from how bravely you allow the day to be a reflection of yourself.
Finally…
After every wedding I organize, I remember one simple truth.
Some people remember how many flowers there were, some don't..
Some just remember how much the decoration cost, and others say that every cent was worth it…
Some don't remember if the napkins were folded a certain way, and others say – Tanche, I saw how you decided to fold the napkins and I really liked it…
There are those who remember almost nothing about the decoration…
But they always remember the emotion…
They remember the laughter…
They remember the tears during the ceremony…
They remember the hugs…
They remember the peace that filled their day…
And most of all, they remember the love they felt…
And if I had to answer the question “What makes a wedding unique?” with just one sentence, it would be this:
Not the decoration, not the budget, and not the location per se.
A unique wedding is one in which every participant is properly selected, every detail tells the story of two people, and the most beautiful decoration is the love with which they begin their new life…
That’s how I have been organizing weddings with the emotion of the newlyweds for 20 years…
This is me – Tanya Valkova wedding organizer or as many people call me Tanya Emotion…
That’s why my wedding agency is Emotion Event & Wedding…
Because Emotion is at the heart of everything…
